Conscious Connected Breathwork
– with gentle movement, somatics and sound –
Summer feels like it's already FULL TILT, so I'm inviting everyone to pause and take a breath - this month is free for everyone.
Sitting between the new moon and the solstice, this hour session of gentle conscious connect breathwork will explore those contrasting energies, how we can work with them to tap into the overflowing, creative energy of summer.

What will we be doing?
This 60 minute session will start with gentle (think seated/lying down) movement, somatics and guided meditation to settle and ground.
We'll then move into conscious connected breathwork, which we'll take in 3 rounds with integration time between each.
No pressure to do all 3 rounds, this is a take-what-you-need practice!
You'll need a quiet space where you can lie down (your bed is fine), some blankets or extra layers and a few pillows are nice.
This is a gentle practice of conscious connected breathwork, but can still result in physiological changes that can activate altered states of consciousness, which are safe but can result in physical and emotional release, and sometimes cause dizziness, tingling, shaking and the feeling of energy moving through the body.
There are some contraindications for this breathwork: pregnancy, high blood pressure, detached retina, glaucoma, cardiovascular disease (including angina, previous heart attack or stroke), diagnosis of aneurysm, uncontrolled thyroid conditions, diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, history of seizures, severe PTSD, trauma or panic attacks, bipolar, schizophrenia or previous hospitalisation for psychiatric condition, recent surgery or severe physical wounds/stitches.
